Good Wurst Company

I had initially came here to try their pork schnitzel sandwich but it appears that it wasn't on their current menu. So, I took a second look at the menu to see what caught my attention. After learning that The Good Wurst makes their sausages in house, I figured it only made sense to try one of them. I ordered the House Made Italian Sausage with sweet and spicy pickles. I actually liked that they sliced the sausage in half and served it on a roll instead of the standard hotdog bun. The main benefit that I saw from this was that the sausage doesn't shoot boiling hot juices into your mouth on the first bite. The bread was nice and soft, but I feel the sandwich needed something else to tie it all together since I didn't get a ton of flavor from the sausage. The pickles were also meh. They weren't sweet or spicy, and I feel this recipe could use a little tweaking because it was just mild bland pickles. The presentation could use a little improvement as well. Otherwise, I liked the dining area and they have their own parking lot right in front of the store.

I believe their hotdogs could be a little thicker for as much bun as they give you .. but overall it was still really really good. I’m definitely gonna come back and try a burger & breakfast.. Beer Cheese is very very good.. Very skimp on the drink options. Not a good look.. maybe they could’ve just been out… but I feel like they should have more drink options or make a homemade lemonade. Or at least cider beer or wine. Something for the girls. They burnt most of my fries but they were still good as chips Lol 😂 ( I did ask for crispy but not burnt )

I got the Carolina dog and a cheeseburger. Both were exceptional. I could tell the difference from the hotdog being made in house. I ordered ahead online and my order was ready within 10 minutes and handed to me right at the walk up window. The guy who gave me my order was nice. We will definitely be returning. My husband got the fries and he loved those as well.
